Success Story
Alex came to Skills Training UK after completing a Business Studies course at college. He had received an unconditional offer at university, but decided to take an Apprenticeship to build his practical work experience.
He commented, “I believed that the practical experience would be more valuable to me as opposed to going through the university process.”
Alex started his Apprenticeship in 2016 with Plumbing World. He has been responsible for managing product content across three websites, as well as creating and posting social media posts.
Alex has shown particular interest in web development and hopes to further develop his skills around this area.
Bridgett Smith, of Plumbing World, said: “It has been wonderful to see Alex grow as a person throughout his apprenticeship. We are very hopeful that that he has a very bright future ahead of him.”
Over time I have been given more and more responsibility within the role and this has helped to develop my skills. Whenever I have a question regarding the course criteria, Skills Training UK have been there to guide me.
