We’re offering free qualifications for employed and unemployed adults age 19+ who live in Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
Our short accredited qualifications for adults cover a range of subject areas. They are designed to give you new knowledge and skills to boost your chances of finding a job you love and help you achieve more in your career.
Courses include:
Business Administration, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Adult Care, Essential Digital Skills, Customer Service, Retail and Hospitality, Access to HE: Creative Industries, Access to HE: Health Professions, Health & Safety and Warehousing + FLT, English, Maths
Sector Work Academy Programmes
Alongside these qualifications we will also have Sector Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs) with local and national employers running each week which will include employment opportunities. For more information on upcoming SWAPs, please complete the contact form on this page.
Am I eligible?
You must be age 19+ and currently unemployed, not in education or training.
Our friendly team will find the right courses for you.
You can take our courses if you live within Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. Outside this area we might not be able to offer you a place – this is because of the way the courses are funded.
Do I have to pay?
No, our courses are free!
They are funded by the Government, meaning you don’t have to pay anything.
When can I start?
New courses will begin every month so you can enrol any time. Contact our friendly team who can help you decide which courses are right for you, depending on what you want to achieve.
You can also choose to study several courses at the same time, so you can achieve a lot in a short time.
Learn online or in-person
Our qualifications can be taught and assessed online using our virtual learning platforms, or taught face-to-face in one of our training centres. Some of our courses also include high-quality, relevant work experience with a local employer.
Our flexible learning models make it easy to fit your courses around other commitments and to learn when it suits you.
