Skills Training UK is delighted to be speaking at the popular NHS Workforce Strategy virtual conference on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 which will focus on ‘Actioning the People Plan’.
The conference will highlight the recent Interim NHS People Plan and how healthcare leaders can continue to develop their workforce and best practice to deliver 21st century care.
Skills Training UK has been at the forefront of design and delivery of apprenticeship programmes for NHS Trusts and other healthcare clients since 2018. We currently partner over 30 NHS trusts nationally, helping them utilise Apprenticeship Levy funding to achieve Trust-wide goals as well as support individual motivation, career development and teamwork.
Skills Training UK partners with NHS Trusts for large scale apprenticeships training programmes relevant to both clinical and non-clinical teams in skills areas including Leadership and Management, Continuous Quality Improvement, Clinical Coder, Business Skills and other areas. We also offer a recruitment service.
During the pandemic virtual trainer 1-2-1 support, a live webinar programme and Skills Training UK’s virtual learning environment with a rich variety of content, have given flexibility to enable employees to continue their apprenticeship programmes where possible.
Stephen said, “Despite the challenges faced by the pandemic, many employees have continued with their apprenticeships, and many who paused have then re-started in different cohort groups.
“I look forward to sharing some examples of this work and how NHS Trusts can continue to develop their teams through their Apprenticeship Levy and additional government incentives.”
