Customer Service

If you love working in a customer facing role, a BTEC in Customer Service Practitioners will help you develop the skills to kick-start or advance a career in customer service.

Learn how to meet customer needs, resolve conflict, manage yourself and take the initiative for your learning and development.

You’ll also learn a range of transferable skills and professional attributes for success in the workplace and can open the door to an Apprenticeship.

Potential job roles for those working towards this qualification are: Customer Service Assistant, Telesales Operative, Help Desk Assistant, Call Centre Operative.

What does a learner need to do?

Attend regular classes either in-person or online.

  • Managing Personal Effectiveness

Eligibility

No prior knowledge, understanding or skills are necessary.

Qualifications

Level 1 award from a nationally recognised exam board.

This qualification gives learners the opportunity to:

  • develop knowledge of the role and importance of customer service and the different ways in which customer service may be delivered
  • Know the roles and responsibilities of team members (including their own) in relation to a given task
  • Be able to work positively as a member of a team
  • Be able to review you’re their ownn performance as a member of a team, and Identify areas for improvement

Assessment

To pass an internally assessed unit, learners must meet all of the unit’s learning outcomes.

The qualification and units are at pass grade.
