4 March 2021
Further to the announcement from the Government that face-to-face delivery can reopen for 16-18 year-olds from Monday 8th March once lateral flow testing has been undertaken, we will be introducing a phased return of learners to Centres as soon as we have lateral flow tests available on site. All learners will be contacted in due course to schedule their testing as soon as tests have been received by us. In the meantime the current arrangements of full delivery online will continue as normal. We look forward to welcoming our learners back as soon as it is safe to do so, and all measures prescribed by the government for return have been implemented.
Further updates to these arrangements will be communicated to learners and posted on our website and social media pages when available. These arrangements apply to all learners on all programmes at Skills Training UK delivery Centres.
We would like to reassure all our learners, as well as parents/carers and our wider stakeholders, that we are fully committed to doing everything we can to ensure no-one misses out on learning new skills, building confidence, receiving support, or gaining a qualification. Our online learning platforms will fully support Learners in ensuring there is no break in their learning. The safety, mental health and wellbeing of our learners and staff will continue to be our top priority.
All measures and decisions remain under constant review and will reflect the latest government guidelines. Thank you for your continued support during such challenging times.
