6 January 2021
Following the Government national lockdown restrictions which come into effect on January 6th 2021, Skills Training UK can confirm that our delivery for Learners will be online from Tuesday 5th January until further notice.
In light of the announcement from the DFE on the evening of 5th January, to protect the safety of our Learners and staff, we have taken the difficult decision to not proceed with the scheduled BTEC January exams. All Learners affected have been informed and we are working with Pearson to ensure alternative arrangements are made to achieve the qualifications.
Further updates to these arrangements will be communicated to learners and posted on our website and social media pages when available. These arrangements apply to all learners on all programmes at Skills Training UK delivery Centres.
We would like to reassure all our learners, as well as parents/carers and our wider stakeholders, that we are fully committed to doing everything we can to ensure no-one misses out on learning new skills, building confidence, receiving support, or gaining a qualification. Our online learning platforms will fully support Learners in ensuring there is no break in their learning. The safety, mental health and wellbeing of our learners and staff will continue to be our top priority.
All measures and decisions remain under constant review and will reflect the latest government guidelines. Thank you for your continued support during such challenging times.
If you have any concerns or queries please email us on email@example.com to request tutor or mentor support.
