BTEC Level 2
The BTEC Industrial Environmental Awareness Level 2 is for people who want to gain valuable experience within the manufacturing and engineering sector, whether you are new to the sector or already working in the industry without formal qualifications.
You will learn about health and safety, communication and working effectively in an engineering environment alongside gaining critical skills and environmental awareness.
The course is designed to support your career progression, add to your knowledge and support you to pursue higher level training and development.

What does a learner need to do?
Attend regular classes either in-person or online.
Allow time for project work and study each week.
Talk to your trainer for support and guidance if you need more support.
Bring a positive attitude to class and any work experience to make sure you get the most from the opportunity.

Eligibility
Learners do not need to achieve any other qualifications before registering. No prior knowledge, understanding or skills are necessary.
Qualifications
You will be awarded a Level 2 certification.
Assessment
The EAL Level 2 Award in Industrial Environment Awareness is assessed through an online examination of 20 multiple choice questions based on the content of the workbook.
