Partner Opportunities for upcoming European Social Fund programmes – 2021

The Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) will be commissioning new contracts under an ESF transition programme that will run from October 2021 to March 2023. These are existing and final extensions to the existing contracts commissioned to start in April 2019. Invitations to Tender were published on 18th June 2021 with opportunities to tender for the following contracts nationally:

  • Skills Support for the Workforce
  • Skills Support for the Unemployed
  • Support for those Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET)

For the next tendering round, Skills Training UK is looking to tender in the following locations (below). Two of the selected areas are ones we already successfully deliver in, while the remaining regions are areas we wish to tender for as well, applying our high performing supply chain model.

Support for those Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETS)

  • London North and East
  • London South (current incumbent)
  • South East (current incumbent)
  • South East Midlands
  • Worcestershire

Skills Support for the Workforce

  • Solent

Skills Support for the Unemployed

  • Worcestershire
  • York, North Yorkshire and East Riding

Skills Training UK is an established Prime Contractor and as a contract manager has been accredited with the highest score of ‘Excellent’ for the Merlin Standard twice. Its supply chains embrace the full diversity of partner organisations, including local authority, third sector, voluntary sector, further education, private training providers and charities.
