Hospital employees improve efficiency through Apprenticeship training

Skills Training UK has been working in partnership with staff at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust – providing Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeships in continuous improvement through our efficiency toolkit for the NHS.

The programme looks at improving efficiency within the workplace and has included modules on health and safety, team working, 5S workplace organisation, quality assurance and problem solving.

Initially the training focussed on employees in high process areas – such as the staff and patient records department where they handle thousands upon thousands of files every day.
